- Jane kinda tries to tell Mr. Loyed that she is being abused but at the tender age of 10 doesnt do a very good job of it. Mr.Loyed just kind of dismisses her complaint and talks about how nice the house is. i think he knows that Jane's aunt abuses her i mean how often do you hear i got pushed down and locked in a room from a child. i think it is incredibally irrisponsible on his part. and wow Janes aunt has alot of people fooled cuz Mr.Loyed started off with how nice he thought Jane's aunt was just the best thing...
