- i think she sees that doll as a miniature of herself more than anything else, and she hopes that lavishing affection on it will make her feel either more loved herself or give her a purpose. she finds peace and solice in the fact that she can give the care and attnetion she wishes for to something else. and it also makes her feel like she has a friend and something that needs her. If i were in her place i suppose i would find a good feeling in that as well. I mean shes pretty much neglected and dissallowed any freindship or feeling of family.
