- this is about Janes first friend. she gets in trouble in class and is put on a stool before the whole class. this punishment is supposed to be humiliating and all that but Helen just sits there calm as stone and takes it. Jane has a hard time dealing with this because she was finally allowed to le her temper go on Reed and now she must learn to curb her temper and allow these punishments.
